Environmental
Impact
Two of the major air pollutants
that are measured by Alberta
Environment are nitrogen oxides
(NOx, and NO2,
NO) and sulfur dioxide (SO2).
Methane is widely used to
hydrate wells and is also
monitored as a Greenhouse
Gas (GHG). Texsteam Chemical
Injection Pumps emit natural
gas and methane where the
methane is used for hydration
control. The chemical injection
pump driven by the EnviroDrive™
system will still use methane
to stop hydration, but does
not emit any gases to the
atmosphere.
Current day emissions in
the oil and gas industry are
high. In 1992, U.S. methane
emissions from the oil and
gas industry amounted to 3.3
million metric tons. Emissions
from the oil and gas industry
were 40% of all emissions
from energy sources and 12%
of total methane emissions.

In areas of oil and gas production
the EnviroDrive™
system reduces the risk and
effect on every breathing
creature, animal or plant.
We require clean air to be
healthy and we need to reduce
global warming.
ONE EnviroDrive™
system can drive up to four
mechanical driven injection
pumps thus eliminating four
gas emitting chemical pumps
that are currently exhausting
polluting gases to the atmosphere.
An average Alberta home uses
150 x 1.0546 MCF of gas to
heat it for one year. This
means that ONE EnviroDrive™
system installed in Alberta
at a least desirable well
site saves enough gas every
34.4 days to heat an average
Alberta home for one year.
