of conventional pump units
that are currently exhausting
gases to the atmosphere.If conventional
pumping units have ½
inch pistons and are pumping into 1000 psi
injection points at a rate
of 50 gallons
per day (based on manufacturer’s
operating charts), then to perform this task one conventional
pumping unit is exhausting
92 cubic feet of raw gas into the atmosphere per
gallon of product moved.
This calculates as follows:

cubic feet of propane
gas

the same if these conventional
pumps were driven
